Quail mountain, located further south in Joshua Tree, is still covered in snow.

  • Peak 4377 looks so close from here. It looks like a 30 minute trip to the summit.
  • The summit is actually reached from the back side, so a bit more travel is required.

  • A silver cholla. Give these nasty plants a wide berth as the needles will go through leather boots like butter.
